The Simple Series · Part 6 of 12
Recovery deserves a place in your week.
It's easy to focus on the session and give very little thought to everything around it. Late nights. Missed meals. A calendar with no breathing room.
Before adding another recovery routine, look at what your ordinary days allow.
Have you left enough time for sleep? Are you eating regularly? Does your training fit alongside everything else you're carrying?
Work, family and life all ask something of you. Your program needs to account for that.
Some weeks you'll have room to push. Other weeks, holding steady or doing a little less will make more sense.
At Virtus, we're building lifelong athletes. We want you to have the capacity to keep participating for years.
That requires paying attention, making adjustments and letting an easier day do its job.
You don't have to earn rest by reaching exhaustion.
Make room to recover. Adjust to your life. Give yourself a chance to come back ready.
If your training keeps leaving you with too little for the rest of your week, let's look at the balance. Book a Free Intro and we'll talk about a more manageable approach.
