The Simple Series · Part 5 of 12
It's hard to eat with confidence when every second post tells you another food is a problem.
Start with a few useful basics.
Eat a variety of foods: vegetables, fruit, wholegrains, protein foods, and dairy or suitable alternatives. Drink water.
Then make those basics practical.
Find a few breakfasts you enjoy. Have lunches you can put together without much thought. Keep ingredients around for an easy dinner.
Food needs to fit your budget, preferences, culture and the time you have available.
At Virtus, the aim is to support your health, training and everyday life. Eating well should leave room for enjoying a meal with people you love.
You don't need to change everything at once. Start with the part of your week that could use some attention.
If your needs are more complex, a dietitian can help make the plan clearer.
Cover the basics. Make them practical. Build habits you can live with.
