From Mornington to Virtus

One clear route. Coaching built for the long run.

Virtus has called Mornington home since 2015. The location works for people moving between Main Street, the industrial area, local schools, sporting grounds and homes across the 3931 postcode. That local base matters because consistency is usually won in the ordinary week: a session before work, between commitments or on the weekend, with coaches who know your name and notice when something changes.

Getting here

Virtus is at 1/2 Torca Terrace, just off Mornington-Tyabb Road. From central Mornington, head east from Main Street towards the light-industrial pocket near Nepean Highway. Travel time changes with school and commuter traffic, so check the route from your own address before your first visit.

Why Virtus

You are coached, known by name and given a plan that is yours.

Virtus is a coaching business first and a gym second. You train in a semi-private session capped at eight, but you are not following a class workout. Your coach knows your goals, adjusts the session to how you arrive that day, and helps you understand what comes next. The floor includes complete beginners, parents, tradies, retirees and competitive athletes. Everyone gets the same standard of attention, without ego or theatre. The aim is useful strength and better training habits you can keep for years, not a frantic six-week fix.

  • A program built around your goals, history and current ability
  • A coach present for every session, with no more than eight people
  • Regular testing and check-ins so progress is visible
  • A welcoming Mornington community where beginners are not left guessing

Your first visit

Start one to one before you join the training floor.

Your Free Intro is a 30-minute visit or a 15-minute phone call. We talk about what you want from training, what has or has not worked before, your week, and anything a coach needs to know. If Virtus looks like a fit, the next step is one-to-one onboarding. Across five sessions, your coach screens how you move, teaches the main lifts and builds your first program. By the time you enter a semi-private session, you know the movements, the space and the people coaching you. There is no pressure to decide during the Free Intro, and the full price is clear before you begin.
