The honest answers

What people ask before they get tested.

Real numbers, what each option includes, and who it is actually for.

What do VALD force plates actually measure?

VALD ForceDecks record the forces you put into the ground under an agreed test protocol. Depending on the package, that can help your coach review measures such as jump performance, force production and left-to-right differences. We explain the chosen tests and their limits before you begin.

What does testing cost?

Five options. A movement screen is $69, a performance profile is $199, a full testing package is $499, a 3-month testing block is $897 and integrated testing is $949. No membership needed to book any of them.

What is the difference between a screen, a profile and a package?

The $69 movement screen gives you a practical starting point for exercise selection and coaching focus. The $199 performance profile adds the broader testing battery, force plates included, with a written report. The $499 package adds a retest so you can compare the same measures under similar conditions.

What do the $897 and $949 options add?

The $897 3-month testing block builds testing into a full training block, so you are tested, coached and retested across the three months rather than handed a number and left with it. Integrated testing at $949 is the most complete version: force plates on site, folded into your training, and reviewed with your coach every step.

Do I have to be a member to get tested?

No. Every option from the $69 screen up can be booked as a one-off, and plenty of people come in for testing alone. Members get tested at the start and end of every 13-week season as part of training, so the number is always current.

Can you test a whole team or club?

Yes. Team testing runs from about $50 an athlete, which is $499 for a squad of 10, and it is the usual starting point for clubs and schools. Ongoing club programs start at $150 a week plus GST and school programs at $200 a week plus GST. The partnerships page has the detail.
