Got that breath. It was pretty bad. You just breathed on it. That was a reset breath. Moving on, moving on. And bloopers. Sorry, we're good. Well I haven't actually started, it's recording but he can fix that later. Thank god. I just smell like sushi, coffee, Red Ball. It smells like a combination for success. Okay, moving on. Compose yourself first, compose yourself. This is a fucking shambles. I don't know if he'd start. We're good. No, on the phone. Oh, should I check? Yeah, I think you should. I'm pretty sure I did. Will this move? Yeah. I'll take it off.

Okay, we're good. What an absolute shit show. We are back, we are ready. I need to do that to start so he knows where to cut it. You shouldn't have started me. Okay, we're good. And welcome back to the Virtus podcast. That was a bit excessive actually. Anyway, welcome back. We are lucky to be joined again by Jazz, Jazzma Spade. Jazz, you are here today for what we call quick fire 30. Yes. And unlike another Virtus coach. Tyler. That shall not be named. Whoa, okay. Throw him straight on the bus. Quick fire questions. Don't explain your answers.

So we're going to go through these fast. Quicker we get them done. Quicker that you get out of here and I can open the door and unlock it and untie it from the chair. Okay, Jazzma, nicknames. Jazz. Well, original. Jazzy. My family call me Japs as well. I don't know. Yeah, there's a context behind that, but quick fire questions doesn't mean you get it. Damn it. Favourite food. Nachos or mango. Favourite movie. Movie or TV series. Friends. No, no. Which one do you prefer? TV. Your TV series. Okay. Favourite TV series. Friends. Favourite movies. Anything sports.

Sorry. Relax. Sports dramas or best one. Remember the Titans. Haven't seen it. Well, you need to watch it. Favourite music. Like genre or artists or whatever. I like anything like R&B on soul at the moment. Or funky. Yeah. You're a book reader, are you not? Yes. Favourite books. Currently reading if you're reading multiple and have read before? My favourite is 1984. I'm currently still reading, I'm going over the book Sapiens. Did you steal that one from Locky? No, no, no, no. It wasn't me. He's out for the @ someone. I think somebody returned it. Oh, was it you?

No, it wasn't me. Are you a podcast listener? Yes. In a car? Driving podcast? Yeah, but not at the moment. What has been your favourite podcast to listen to or podcast previously? Besides the You Go To Performance podcast, of course. I'm at the moment more audiobooks, but favourite podcasts. God, I've gone completely blank. I've gone blank. Audiobooks I've been reading for the past forever. What type of podcast then? I've only really ever done sports science based podcasts or coaching based ones. That's where I learned a lot of my stuff when I was in the car driving to internships when I was younger.

I'm coming over for dinner. What are you cooking? You've asked me this question before. I have. Nachos. What's on the nachos? Well, for you or for me? You're in charge. You have to try and cook for me, Jazz. You're in charge. Corn chips. What type of corn chips? Not Doritos. Mission corn chips because you wouldn't eat them. Beans, cheese, guac, salsa. Keep it simple. Plan. Like it. We are having three people join us for dinner. Who are you bringing? Dead, alive, famous, not famous. I don't know the answer to this question. Unlucky you have seven minutes to think of an answer.

Can we come back to this one? No, we're here right now. Damn it. What? Doesn't have to be complex. I don't have an answer. It's too many people. Okay, name five then if there's too many. No, you asked for three. All of them would be probably some sort of female leaders. Let's go. Michelle Obama would be one. I don't know, Mitch. Come back to it. What's your favorite place in the world? To be. Like are we talking? Just to be right now, where would you like to be? What's your happy place? With my family at home.

What's your favorite place to travel? Have you done much travel? Yeah, with my family when I was younger. Most of my family lives over in England so we've been there a few times. Favorite place to travel? Over to my family in England. Where my uncles live in the Cotswolds. Where would you love to go that you haven't been yet? Me and my brother are planning to go to base camp at Everest. Oh yeah, I'd love that too. If you could teach everyone in the world, you're over at Everest and everyone's there with you. What would you like everyone to know?

What would you like to teach them? Be kind. Perfect day off, what does it look like? Probably pretty simple. Maybe train in the morning, a bit of a sleep in. What's a sleep in? Like 9 o'clock, 8.30. I'm not waking up at 5 or 4.30. Train, maybe walk, grab a coffee with either a friend or my mum or family. I really enjoy work so some sort of project or something like that, maybe reading and then going out for dinner with some friends or family. Really chilled, very easy. Some more firsts, first car? A Suzuki Swift. Of course.

Shut up. I knew it, I should have known. What a great transition from a Swift to a Golf. Polo. Sorry Polo, my bad. First job? Baker's delight. Can you bag? Actually I reckon I can. First sporting team? Followed. That I followed. Yes that you followed. Richmond. Are we talking about football or? Any. Richmond. Is that the only sport? Yeah but I also followed, I just watched the Olympics but it would have been the. First sporting team played for? Knox Little Athletics. No we're Knox. We don't like Knox. No we don't mind Knox. First concert you attended?

Ed Sheeran. Same. Guess what? What? Not underrated. We had a conversation about that. Oh Tyler. Not naming anyone again. Ah Tyler. Whoops, too late. He doesn't get Ed Sheeran out. We're going with your pet hate. You're not a very aggressive person so hate is a strong word for you. It is, there's nothing really, hate, over complaining. Define over complaining, what do you mean by over complaining? When, I mean, when it's excessive, just constant. All anyone ever does is just complain. Come on, look at the bright side. It's not that bad. What did you want to be when you were a kid?

Oh god. Leaning into the deeper ones, we're getting there. I'm not answering this, my brothers will understand this one as well. Again, interesting as a kid. I wanted to be an athlete but before then I'm not answering the question of what the first thing was. Can I guess? You won't be able to guess this, believe me. Ballerina. No. Oh really? No, you literally won't get it at all. Moving on then. As we were. What's your worst habit? Losing my phone, leaving my stuff everywhere. What would your mum say is your worst habit? That I'm stubborn. What do you wish every Virtus member/gym member knew?

That is a very open question. It is. Can I just say what I said before for the other? Yeah, it's the same question. Tyler and I are debating this. This sucks. Two most used apps on your phone. Um, probably, I dunno, what's on there right now? What do you use every day? Spotify for audiobooks or something like that and probably Instagram. Instagram handle, what is it for the people at home? Females In Sport. How did you get that name, how did you come up with it? Women In Sport was taken. Well that's what my brand to be.

We've had this conversation, I remember. Now someone who, why do you say this with a smile? Because you're not a very controversial person, so what's your most controversial opinion, Jazz? This one you knew about, so I'm thinking you've got an answer for this one. I actually don't. I didn't think about it. I should've gone over it, listened to yours again and then had answers for it. But Mitch grabbed the piece of paper and locked me in a corner when I tried to steal it. I didn't know such a thing. Yes you did, it was probably on filming.

Prove it. We have video footage in here just so you know, we can go back and look at it. Yeah that's outside, we're in here in the blind shot. Damn it. Anyway, controversial opinion, back on track. Everything ends up being okay after all. I like it, I'll allow it. You made it past that one. What are you currently listening to audiobook wise? I don't think you answered that before did you? I'm listening to Sabians as an audiobook, which probably not. You need to sit down, that's a very heavy book but it's a very interesting one. Yeah I don't think I can bring myself to...

But it makes the card trick go very quickly. It might make me fall asleep so that's not a good thing. Don't do that, don't listen to an audiobook otherwise. What are you currently watching? If you are watching anything. What are you binging? I don't have time to binge anything at the moment. Whatever my mum's got on TV whenever she comes home and I sit down and have a chat with her when I get home from work. What's your mum's favorite TV show? Days of our lives? No she... I'm just kidding, I love your mother, she's very nice.

I mean she probably watches anything like that. What is she watching? Literally anything, she just sits there with the dogs, it's the best. Dogs are the best. What do you suck at? A lot. Talking about myself. I think you're doing a pretty good job at that. Do you have a morning routine? Not really. Are you a routine based person? I know you're pretty organized but... I have a Sunday routine which sets up my week. Because weeks start on what day? Well, no we're not answering that question. I feel like it starts on a Monday but my Sunday sets up by Monday.

Weeks start on Monday, high five end of conversation, Lachlan grow up. What's the most impactful piece of advice you've received? Can it just be about anything? Treat others the way you want to be treated. Apart from that, what's the most impactful piece of advice you give to other people? In what context? Any context. Can it be the same as what I said before? No, apart from that, that was the key words. Because I knew you were going to do that. What do you find yourself telling people often? That is a very broad question. What context are we talking about?

Let's go with an intern. Or a student. Or if you go do a presentation. What's your punch line? I still don't know where you're going with this. What's your advice for future female strength and conditioning coaches? Nailed that one. I nailed that one. What's the question? What's the advice you give for future female strength and conditioning coaches? Don't be afraid to put yourself out there in an environment even if it isn't intimidating. Perfect, so you nailed it. Why are you a coach? I'm glad you're a shit athlete. I mean, fair. Because I get to make an impact in a positive direction.

I love it. Pineapple on pizza, yes or no? Yes. You can stay, love it. Part two of the finish. This or that? Even quicker, quickfire questions. Sweet or savoury? Savoury. You know I said even quicker, right? Coffee or tea? Tea. Summer or winter? Summer. Run or ride? Run. TV or movie? TV. Take in or take out? Take in. Country or city? That's an it depends question. That's too far, like come on. Where would you like to live? Country or city? Long term? I don't want to live in the city. Scrunch or fold? Fold. Good, you know a psychopath.

Shower or bath? Shower. Call or text? Call. Blue or red? Blue. Zip or hoodie? Why did you look at me like that? Because I'm a red guy. Zip or hoodie? Hoodie. Comedy or action? Action. Beach or snow? Beach. Festival or concert? Festival. See, not too bad. Easy, quick, I love it, done. Alright, last part, my favourite part of these quickfire questions. We'll do some word association on a client or athlete. Virtus, space, Casey, science, you name it, you're in charge. I may not know these people, but that's okay. I'm sure someone will listen and that's where we get a bit of a giggle.

Alright, word association, who's the biggest pest? I answered this one before. You did, I told you about this one coming. So was that one again? Friendy. Dedicated? Alicia Bertrand. Noisy. Muddo. Come on. I think I said the same thing actually. Probably. Worst music? Worst music? Or worst suggestions for music? All of my year eight boys that I coach. Strongest. As in? I got this one from the Avengers. Strongest. Well I mean, technically she's more on your list, but probably Renee. She's probably the strongest. We're not on a list, this is just word association. Strongest, perfect. Renee.

Fastest. Charlie Fellows. Smartest. The smartest. Yep, smartest. This is bad that I can't think of one. The next one is slowest so I think you might have to put yourself up for that one. I don't know, nothing. Booksmart. Berkey. Street smart. Ellen Wood. I don't know that person. I'm okay with it. Late. Olivia. Space Kid. Olivia. Best rehabber or most consistent rehabber that you've had? Alicia Bertrand. Worst rehabber you've ever had? Tomo. I knew that was coming too. Set that one up. I saw that coming. Jasmine, that's all the questions I have. Beautiful. We're gonna finish with, and I hate this question.

What happens when we die, Jazz? What a morbid question to finish a positive podcast on. What happens when we die? Nothing. Yeah that's what I think. What a horrible question. Anyway we're done. Quick 5.30. Well done Jazz. We're out of here. See you later.

The podcast is the philosophy. The floor is where it happens.
