Mentorship Spotlight: Lane Meyer

Welcome Lane, Introduce yourself to the Virtus Family

I'm Lane. I am currently in my final year of my Exercise and Sports Science degree at Deakin University. I love footy, running, lifting and hiking and outside of physical activity I enjoy taking photos!

Why did you choose to spend the next 13 weeks at Virtus?

I have entered the Virtus mentorship program as a means of fulfilling my placement hours, gaining field experience and overall personal development. I'm excited to help others and use what I learn to also help myself!

Who do you want to be when you grow up?

Still tossing up between Physiotherapist and Adventure Photographer, maybe both?

Favourites: Book, Food, TV Show, Band, Movie and podcast?

Between the frames podcast, Brooklyn 99, Lone Survivor, Happy Gilmore

What are you good at, What are your strengths?

Having a laugh, respecting people, working with others & problem-solving

What are you not so good at, Where is there room for improvement

General confidence, group management, being authoritative/commanding
