Virtus Update: Outdoor Training & More Good-Ness

Well, here we are.

Monday the 27th of September, 3 months to go until 2022 rolls around, creeping up on 300 days with the doors of 1/2 Torca Terrace closed. It's been one hell of a ride these past 20 months. (to say the least)

I can't thank you all enough for the love, support and commitment over that time. There were many days where I doubted the business would survive and although we aren't out of the woods yet, there are too many wonderful reasons to continue, and for the first time in a long time, there is a clear pathway towards a permanent reopening.

We have pencilled in November 5th as the auspicious date. Pencilled being the important word, with it dependant on the vaccine rollout, let's just say we are looking forward to reopening our doors in 'early' November.

Whenever it happens, we are itching for the fresh start!

We took a stance for vaccinations, we want to do anything we can to keep our community safe and healthy, if you missed it, you can read it here. It was hard to say everything I wanted in an Instagram post & as always I'm open for a chat about it if you had any questions, queriese or differing opinions, lay them on me.

Outdoor Training

As of Wednesday (29/9) this week, we will be offering outdoor sessions to our VAD & VGT members. The wonderful Coach Tyler Frost will be heading these sessions up & they will take place out the front of the gym.

In line with the current government regulations, we are allowed 5 Fully Vaxxed per group or 2 Single Vaxxed.

Gym Re-opening

Podcast Good-Ness
I recorded a special bonus episode of the Virtus Podcast in collaboration with the Valor Podcast, with Stuart Cunningham, Josh Reid Jones, We had a chat and trying to find some calm amidst the chaos. Just what the doctor ordered, on top of your Covid Vaccine of course. Lastly, we all know that we set ourselves up for success for everything when we can find consistency and continuity within what we do. This is true even more-so for Physical & Mental Health and Wellbeing. Well the last 20 months has given us none of this. When we reopen in November, we can find our consistency again and we cannot be more pumped.
