It?s Monday the 25th of March, 2019, it just ticked over 7:30am and it's the best day of the year.

What makes this day so special I hear you asking, well, nothing, and everything, all at the same time.

It's just another day, if you choose to look at it that way . However if, just for a moment, you stopped and observed you would realise how wonderful today really is.

It?s safe to assume that you have your health. If you've gotten this far then you can read. If you're reading this then it's either on a laptop, desktop or a smart phone. I?d bet that you had a warm bed to sleep in last night and potentially a loved one to share it with. You would have consumed a decent breakfast this morning. Your daily coffee is either sitting in your stomach or waiting for you in a pile of beans, ready to be turned into a magical beverage and you're afforded the luxury of going to work. To (hopefully) do what you love and make a difference.

Yes you have bills, and responsibilities, and struggles and frustrations. But none of that really matters because like today, it'll pass.

Above all else, you have an opportunity, even a responsibility to do your absolute very best today. Because the bets are completely off for what tomorrow will bring. We can plan and we can hope. But you and I might not be here. So let's focus on today. Let's stop wishing for a future that may not come, or for the past that has ceased to exist.

Take a moment today to appreciate what you have. Appreciate that youre living in the best time in human history. Appreciate the wonderful people you get to spend today with.

What a time to be alive.
